Serving food since the 17th century, the Oak House overlooks an ancient market square. We offer a casual fine dining restaurant in a historical building. A high, open beam ceiling and exposed stone walls in the restaurant display the original space, while the gentle lighting contributes to an intimate feel. Honouring many different cooking traditions and interpreting them with our original vision creates a fine modern menu with classical French disciplines. Our food is sourced from top quality seasonal ingredients, featuring a high proportion of local, fresh and organic products. The young team here have recently been awarded 2 AA Rosettes, Rough Guides Authors pick and 5 stars for the 10 rooms above the restaurant.
