The Spencer Arms, Cawthorne was built in 1720 and is now one of South Yorkshire's best Gastro-Pubs located in this beautiful village (listed in the Domesday Book) at the foot of the Pennine Hills.

The Spencer Arms, Country Pub & Restaurant is set in the picturesque, village of Cawthorne. We have a passion for fabulous food and we constantly evolve our menus and dishes to reflect the best of seasonal produce. We are proud to source meat and produce locally; all our meat comes from Cannon Hall Farm, including our own secret receipe, handcrafted sausages, plus many of the fruits and herbs have been harvested right here from our very own garden. We have expanded our entire menu, offering more fish dishes, more choice for our vegetarian diners, an ever changing 'mid-week specials' board and even a delicious selection of nibbles and grazings to accompany our range of fine wines and hand pulled real ales. We have a lovely beer garden, for dining and drinking and a brand new private function room, called 'The Baarn', where we can hold any kind of event for up to 35 people dining or 50 people partying!
