A traditional pub serving quality, home cooked lunches at a reasonable price. Five real ales on offer (3 guest ales and 2 regularly changing).
The Stone Jug is a 16th century building which first became a pub in the early 1900's. It is a family run business and has been in the same family since 1981. In a rural setting, it is situated on the fringes of the Greensand Ridge Walk, perfect for ramblers or dog walkers. Dogs are welcome in the pub, a water bowl and biscuits provided for them! The Stone Jug is a 'proper local', serving quality real ale and home cooked lunches (food served Tuesday-Saturday 12-2pm).
