First licensed in 1642 The Boars Head Hotel is the oldest Public House in Bishops Castle with part of the building dating back to 1597, We are open for all day everyday offering Morning Coffee, Main Meals and snacks, to a good selection of real ales, craft lagers and good quality wines. Comfortable surroundings inglenook fireplaces. Our accommodation is in a converted 17th century barn adjacent to the main building giving you your own access to come and go as you please. Comfortable beds, Flat Screen TV, Rain Head Showers, Baths. Complimentary Tea, Coffee & Mineral Water. Free Parking. We are steeped in tradition, still a free house but offering the comforts today's modern traveller expects. Our Rooms are all on one level so easy accessible with Parking outside your door.
