The Bricklayers Arms is a small, family run pub in the rural village of Stondon Massey, near Brentwood. A wide range of beverages are served, along with food.

A traditional English pub, set in the rural village of Stondon Massey, the Bricklayers Arms is run by Keith & his daughter Aimee - Both having been here since May 1974. The Bricklayers Arms is the central hub of the village, being a large part of the annual village fete and other events, including the 2011 Royal Wedding and upcoming 2012 Diamond Jubilee celebrations! Stondon Massey's very own book club also meet in the Bricklayers monthly. Along with a number of alcoholic beverages, the Bricklayers has Cask Ales, served straight from the barrels. Food is also of a high quality, with lunches being served 12 - 2, Tuesday - Friday, Wednesday offering home prepared, made and cooked puddings and lasagnes, priced at £5.95 for a main course!! Come in between 12 - 2 on a Sunday, and you'll be treated to the option of a traditional Sunday roast! With the constant updating of the facilities, friendly, accomodating staff and delicious food, the Bricklayers Arms is one of the few real pubs, oozing with character and atmosphere. Originally built in 1848, the pub has seen numerous landlords come and go, but since the current one moved in, the pub has seen 4 births, one marriage and a whole lot of community spirit!
