Located along The Friars just off the main high street in town just opposite The Marlowe Theater; The Canterbury Tales is a delightful pub full of spirit and a unique atmosphere with friendly and welcoming staff. Supplying a fine range of Ales complimented with a great variety of Largers for the acquired tastes of the City. Also boasting an arsenal of the usual spirits alongside some more exotic selections along the bar! Plenty of wines and bubbly to choose from including the usual list of White, Rose, Red! With an open log fire in the winter, plenty of tables and leather chairs to relax in Tales is a great venue to relax in, read the paper, catch up on uni work or socialize with friends in the afternoon and evenings... Additionally however with our extra late night license Tales is the perfect place to be if you enjoy upbeat music (jukebox in-use every night), great shots, bombs and shooters and having a good time into the early hours of the morning @1.30am!
