The Mare and Foal is a traditional local pub offering the finest, locally sourced food and real ales.

Originally built as a railway hotel in 1860 before being renamed the Mare & Foal at the turn of the century. The pub has been the heart of the local community ever since. When you visit the Mare & Foal you can expect a great atmosphere, good food and a choice of real ales. We have an outdoor child's play area, poor table, skittle alley and darts all available to keep all the family entertained. You will also find the Mare & Foal listed in the CAMRA real ale guide.
