The Digger's Rest is a traditional thatched village pub in the middle of the pretty south Devon village of Woodbury Salterton, just 4 miles from the M5.

We are particularly proud of our food which is freshly prepared and locally sourced. The menu changes to reflect seasonal availability and there is a Specials Board where we can offer rarer treats. As a free house we offer a good selection of real ales from local, micro and regional brewers, with one of the beers being changed on a regular basis. There is an interesting range of non alcoholic drinks and our wines are from a the renowned independent wine merchant, Tanners of Shrewsbury. Fairtrade coffees complete the drinks offering. Whether you want check your emails (we have free wifi), meet up with friends for coffee, drinks or a meal, you will find a warm welcome from Ben and Kate and their team at 'The Diggers'. A disabled access ramp is available - please ask at the bar or ring ahead.
