Accessibility information: The Augustus John is on the outskirts of Fordingbridge, and has a large, flat car park, with flat access into the bar and restaurant areas. There is a small and gentle slope leading from the entrance, down in towards the bar. Access to the gents toilets is by the entrance door, and has flat access. Access to the ladies toilets is through the restaurant area, and has one step up into the toilets. The bar and restaurant area are carpetted, with plenty of space between tables. For our resident's rooms, there is a small step down into the resident's entrance in the car park, and we have 2 rooms that are accessed from the initial corridor. There are a further 2 rooms in a courtyard area, with an additional step down into a gravelled area, and then 2 small steps up to access the rooms. All rooms are en-suite, with flat access to the bathrooms.
