The Tap and Spile, Hexham is a traditional family run real ale pub with bed and breakfast. Over the years, we have established regular live music sessions.

The Tap and Spile, Hexham is a traditional, family run, real ale pub situated in the centre of Hexham, Northumberland. With 7 handpulls, we offer a wide selection of real ales from local breweries and from breweries all over the country. We also offer a fantastic choice of malt whiskies, spirits, wines, lagers and ciders. There is almost always something going on at The Tap and Spile. Every Monday we host a quiz from 8pm, with a free half-time curry. Every 3rd Wednesday of the month is our acoustic night from 8.30pm - all genres and styles welcome. The first Thursday of the month is Tap Unplugged - our open mic night from 8pm. On the 3rd Thursday of every month we also host a folk night.
