Independent since 2005, warm and welcoming pub in North Kingston. Serving great food, eclectic wines, Cask Marque accredited beers and our attentive staff provide you with friendly table service. Head chef, Michael Mannion, began his career at Claridges, before joining Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons. He then moved on to work with Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsey at Harvey’s (now Chez Bruce). Michael took his first head chef role at the Lighthouse in Wimbledon winning 2 AA Rosettes and has received critical acclaim throughout his career. He produces superb pub classics and delights in his changing specials board. All dishes are competitively priced providing great value for our customers. Our recent Mayoral Community Award for outstanding commitment to Kingston upon Thames reflects our contribution and fundraising for local schools and charities within our community. We host quizzes, clubs, meetings and parties, please ask about using our event space for any occasion. We support local businesses including wine, beer and food suppliers, we also take the Kingston Pound (1p in every K£ goes to local charities).
