Alan & Michelle would like to welcome you to our traditional village pub.

Horse & Jockey is a warm and very welcoming pub. People of all ages are excepted and any new guests that arrive will be very much welcomed by the Manager, Alan and the manageress, Michelle. The pub is a family run pub and has been kept in its traditional style as much as possible. Although the pub is surrounded by a few other pubs we are the only pub in the Wall Heath area to have 4 different tradition beers with Banks Bitter, Banks Mild and Banks Sunbeam being our 3 main sellers. The 4th pump has a different guest ale on every week, always being a Pale Ale. Our bar staff are also very welcoming and are lovely to talk to! Not only do we try our best to sell the best of the best drinks for our wonderful customers but we also do our best to look after them by continuously updating and showing any major football matches that are to be played and we also like to keep up with the major Horse races too, which are shown either on Racing UK or At the Races. Along with this, every other week on a Saturday Night we have some fabulous Singers on which vary 60's 70's or 80's music which all customers, old or new enjoy and get up and dance to! The Manageress of the Horse & Jockey, Michelle, organises a lot of other events, for example Beer Festival Race Days or just events to try and raise money for different charities such as Compton Hospice or Cancer Research. Each event made is enjoyed by everyone and feedback from the past has been fantastic!! If anyone is interested in holding a party, funeral wakes or any other kind of celebration then get in touch with Michelle by either coming in and seeing her or phoning up :) buffets will be made if requested by the menus that have been put together!
