The pub is owned and run by two local families; Martin and Louise Peachey and Louise’s brother Peter Walker and his wife Lisa. Martin is a local, classically trained chef and his 25 years experience in the area has allowed us to source the best quality local produce. His menus are tailored to reflect his knowledge of the local diner’s culinary expectations and requirements. It is our goal to have something for everyone on our menu which gives our customers the choice from light snacks to fine dining. We offer both diners and drinker’s a warm welcome and friendly service with an excellent selection of real ale and wines. We have a traditional bar with an open fire, a separate eating area and a comfortable, family friendly snug. The Black Sheep Brewery in Masham is supplying our regular beers and our guest ales will be carefully selected from a host of local, independent microbreweries. A warm and friendly welcome awaits from all of us at The Guy Fawkes Arms. The pub is currently undergoing a sympathetic refurbishment in keeping with the character of the building so watch this space for the opening date.
