One of Leek's oldest pubs dating back to the 1700s that has the oldest cellar in the town. A rustic style interior adds to the atmosphere of the place. A regular in the Good Beer Guide and a friendly pub to visit. There are seven real ales, four of which are brewed by Whim and three guest beers from micro breweries. There are at least two real ciders on at any time. The licensee is a professional musician. AWARDS: Staffordshire Moorlands Sub Branch Pub of the Year 2014 & Merit Awards in the 2013 & 2015 competitions.
