A historic country pub in the heart of Cookham Dean which was bought by the village for the village - serving great food, real ales and fine wines.

The Jolly Farmer is a historic traditional pub located in the beautiful countryside of Cookham Dean. The pub dates back to 1788 and many of its original features are still in place. Since 1987, The Jolly Farmer has been owned by the village, after residents joined forces to buy the freehold to save it from property developers. If you're longing for a warm fireplace during the cold months, then come and keep warm next to one of our toasty log fires. We also have a stunning beer garden, offering the best spot in Cookham for a refreshing drink or an alfresco meal when the sun is shining. And for the children, we have our popular play area, so the whole family are welcome to have a Jolly time, even the dog. Brunch on Saturday & Sunday 10am to 12pm. Lunch served Mon to sat 12pm to 3pm. On Sundays 12pm to 4pm. Dinner served 6pm to 9pm. We have 4 real ales. Proper Job, Timothy Taylor Landlord, Rebellion IPA & the Rebellion seasonal ale from Marlow.
