NOW OPEN in Maidstone High Street (opposite The Muggleton Inn). Opened in November 2013, as a traditional free-house, The Brenchley offers a vast range of popular beers, wines, spirits, seasonal & guest real ales, along with an affordable food menu (group bookings welcome), speedy service and traditional pub opening times… and it's proven to be a real hit with the people of Maidstone. Some of you will be familiar with the old NatWest & Kentish Bank building. The Kentish Bank was founded in 1793 and built by John Brenchley. Now the building has been lovingly transformed into Maidstone's newest traditional pub. We have sympathetically restored this beautiful building to its former grandeur, complete with its solid oak columns & panelling, ornate cornice and best of all, its stunning huge glass ceiling dome.
