Flying Horse is a newly built Hungry Horse, opened Autumn 2013, which is located in Heald Green, Stockport. This venue is situated beneath the flightpath of Manchester Airport so our lawned beer garden and decked area is a fantastic position to view the planes coming in and out. The kids will love it - so bring your binoculars and you can virtually see the pilots! Inside is modern and vibrant with seating for over 200, including intimate booth seating with TV’s in them to entertain the children. We also have a projector screen so they can view kids movies. As well as the restaurant we have our bar area with pool table plus BT Sport. We are on the main Styal Road so welcome visitors from the companies on the Business Park along with local residents. Our daily food deals and drinks offers are always popular. If you want a break from work then pop in for a spot of lunch, a business chat or a well earned drink after work. Inside is vibrant and of the latest Hungry Horse design with wood finish and quirky pictures of planes and the local weaving industry. These themes are also featured in the murals on the walls and, given Boeing was developed close by, we had to pay homage to that and the local rag trade in Manchester. Our extensive Hungry Horse menu will not disappoint with a wide selection to suit everyone’s taste, plus an excellent children’s menu. Colouring sheets are also available to keep the youngsters amused for a relaxed dining experience. If that's not enough then we have our outdoor play area where they can run off some steam.
