About
The Square & Compass is an historic public house dating back to 1735, located in the heart of Derbyshire on the outskirts of the Peak District.
A Robinson's Brewery of Stockport house, we serve great beer and wonderful home-cooked food seven days a week.
In addition to the pub and dining facilities, including a pool table, The Square & Compass offers en-suite accommodation with breakfast included in the price and a picturesque riverside camp and caravan site. Day fishing permits for the River Derwent are available from the pub. We also have extensive car parking facilities as well as boules pitches for a nice relaxing game on a summer afternoon.
