Welcome to The Compton Arms' Facebook page! We are one of the few (and probably the best) real, old fashioned pubs left in this part of London. Situated down a secluded side road just off Upper Street and just a stones throw from Highbury & Islington tube and rail station, The Compton Arms provides the very best in fine real ales and homecooked food. The music plays at a gentle level as there is nothing finer in a pub than the clink of glasses and the hum of conversation. We have an extensive wine list of red's, white's and rose's from around the world. Our house real ales are Greene King IPA and Abbot Ale, with two more hand pumps which rotate on a regular basis featuring new and different ales from smaller brewers from around the country. The Compton Arms is cask marque accredited. Our menu is full and varied with daily specials supplementing our standard fayre. We offer a fabulous, hearty sunday roast on non Arsenal home games, with homemade desserts available if you have room. All major sporting events are shown here on our screens and TV's, including games shown outside in our heated and covered courtyard.
