The Newcastle Gay Scenes longest owned and operated safe LGBT space for the North East Gay Community
The Yard is the longest running Gay Bar on the Newcastle Gay Scene. The bar opened in the early 80's for the LGBT community by the current owner and operator Mr. Adrian Gadd under the name of The Courtyard. With a total overhaul in in 2000.
Open daily with a number of events and entertainment downstairs in the Yard .
