About
We are warm, friendly, traditional pub serving homemade food and cask ales. Familes and dogs welcome with beer garden at the back.
We are warm, friendly, traditional pub serving homemade food and cask ales and are situated a short distance from Junction 26 of the M1. The pub itself dates back to the 18th century and comprises a central bar, three rooms with a variety of table sizes and a real fireplace which gives a cosy atmosphere in winter.
We pride ourselves on being both family-friendly and have a variety of facilities for both yourselves and your little ones. Why not have a drink in our large beer garden whilst the kids play in our well-equipped play area? In warmer weather, a bouncy castle is also available. Well-behaved dogs are also made welcome and we have water bowls available during warm weather. Our beer garden also has a heated smoking shelter, as well as a marquee which hosts events and can be hired for functions.
Monday night is quiz night and we have independent quiz masters to put your knowledge to the test. There are prizes including several on-the-spot prizes, and a game of Sticky 13s to follow.
We hope you’ll join us for a meal or a pint or two very soon and look forward to welcoming you to our pub.
