About
Traditional pub on the banks of the Mersey. Pub food,large beer garden, kids play area. Dogs welcome! Woodland setting but only 500yds from jct6 M60.
Hidden away on the banks of the River Mersey, Jackson's Boat is a historic inn on the boundary of Manchester and Cheshire. We are at the beginning, middle or the end of some great walks and rides, including the Trans Pennine Trail and Mersey Valley Health Walk. Traditional food and ale is available from the bar, served inside or out. We are family friendly and even the dog is welcome. Bicycle hire is also available from the Bike Barn, you can find them next to our football pitch. We look forward to serving you.

Transport Tips
We are not currently on any public transport links, though we are within easy walking distance from Sale Moor and Chorlton. From Sale Moor follow the signs for Trafford Water Sports and turn right on the bend before you enter. From Chorlton we are accross Jackson's Bridge opp Hardy Farm. If you are driving we are at junction 6 of the M60. Everybody knows us so just ask someone if you get lost.
