The Market Porter is most definitely a real ale pub, with up to nine traditional ales constantly changing, its a "beer festival" every day of the week.

The Market Porter is a public house and restaurant overlooking historic Borough Market. Offering twelve traditional and award-winning ales on tap and freshly prepared British food seven days a week. Above the buzzing ground floor bar is our gorgeous restaurant. With its own bar, elegant Victorian decor and views of Borough Market, our restaurant is the perfect space for a traditional English lunch, a cosy evening meal and private events, whether with friends, family, or colleagues. We are extremely proud of our food at The Market Porter. Open seven days a week, our kitchen serves delicious, classic British and Modern European fare, using local and fresh ingredients from nearby markets. Our food is complemented by a great range of award winning traditional ales, craft beers, local gins, and fine wines. We rotate our guest ales frequently - it’s like an ale festival every day of the week. We won’t be surprised if you decide to stay for ‘just one more’.
