The Stanton Arms is a welcoming, traditional, real ale country pub serving high quality food in North Shropshire. We have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, enhanced in the winter months by the open fireplace. During the summer months, families are welcome to enjoy our hospitality alfresco in our attractive beer garden and patio area. Our aim is to provide a warm welcome to all of our visitors; children, dogs, cyclists and walkers are all well catered for, both inside and out. The well stocked bar offers three well kept real ales from Shropshire. The wine list incorporates wines from around the world and are supplied by Majestic Wines. Our menu offers homemade and freshly prepared dishes using locally sourced produce where possible. Rural charm, real ale and hearty country food is served in the pub, the garden and our dining room. The dining room can be reserved for small parties or groups and can provide a convenient meeting point for many clubs and societies. We welcome groups to use the dining room free of charge if booked in advance. We cater for a variety of events including weddings, christenings, birthday parties and dinner parties, either at the pub or at an outside venue. We can provide you with a selection of menu ideas or the menu can be specifically tailored to your event. The pub is based right on the edge of the Shropshire Way and two minutes from Moreton Corbet Castle. We have a selection of circular walks from the pub and maps are available at the bar.
