The Hare and Hounds, a traditional country Free House lies in the heart of beautiful East Devon, between Sidmouth and Honiton.

Inside this traditional country Free House you will find wooden beams, log fires, very local ales and a warm welcome for all the family. Famous for years for the quality of our Carvery, we also offer an extensive menu of freshly prepared classic pub food. Outside, as well as two car parks, there is a children's play area set within a large garden which boasts beautiful views down the valley to Sidmouth and the sea. The surrounding area has many footpaths and archeological sites making this a popular destination for walkers. Dogs are allowed in our Lounge and Tap Bars. Although renowned for food, The Hare & Hounds is still a real country pub and you are just as welcome to drop in for a a pint of real ale or a glass of wine.
