The CAVENDISH ARMS is an Artistically Influenced Quirky Propa’ Pub serving Booze & Grub till LATE. Our adjoining glamorously restored speak easy vibe vintage backroom hosts nighty events showcasing some of the best Comedy, Music, Burlesque and performance the capital has to offer! We are Open to the public daily from 5pm – Late! *COMEDY VIRGINS* From Monday to Wednesday we run our longstanding and well loved Comedy Virgins, stand-up comedy night. We regularly attract over twenty stand-up comedians all performing five minute sets in a competition where YOU the crowd decide the winner. Come down, bring you mates and have a laugh. If you're a budding comedian and fancy giving it a go Comedy Virgins is a perfect place to start. Head to our Comedy Virgins Facebook group on the link below and sign up for a spot to perform. Alternatively you can head down on the night and sign up for one of five open spots. All performers MUST bring a friend. Up to five bands playing each night from 8.00pm until 12.00am on our awesome ballroom stage. Come down early and chill in our funky bar whilst listening to the ever popular Cav playlist, then check out the bands before heading back into the bar to party until 2.00am!! If you're in a band and you fancy a slot at The Cav then express your interest by emailing [email protected] *VENUE FOR HIRE* Fancy having your party here at The Cav? Then do it! We offer our venue to private hires from Thursday to Sunday. Birthdays, weddings whatever the occasion why not have a party with a twist. You can hire the whole venue, just one of the rooms or even just our comfy sofa area in the bar. For the more elaborate shindig, remember we have a full PA, lighting rig and back line if you see fit to have some live entertainment. Either organise it yourself or ask us for some recommendations. Our whole fabulous venue is available to hire throughout the week for filming, photo shoots and rehearsals.
