The Eagle is a traditional Village Pub in the picturesque village of Great Hockham with a great selection of real ales, enclosed rear courtyard, children & dogs welcome, easy parking.

The Eagle is a traditional country pub set in the picturesque village of Great Hockham. Close to Thetford Forest and just a 10 minute drive from Snetterton Racing Circuit, children and dogs are welcome and in addition to the outdoor seating at the front of the pub we have an enclosed rear brickweave courtyard too. We pride ourselves on our selection of real ales, lagers and wines and the quality has been independently recognised by Cask Marque, who regularly check all our cask ales for temperature, appearance, aroma and taste and have awarded the Eagle a 'Certificate of Excellence'. Food is served Monday – Thursday, midday til 2pm, Fridays & Saturdays midday til 9pm, Sundays midday til 6pm and we have the top Food Hygiene rating of ‘5’. We take credit cards, you can settle up with your MasterCard, Maestro, or Visa 'chip & pin' card and request cashback. We offer free Wi-Fi, so you can surf the internet, check your email and keep up to date with all your social networks whilst enjoying a drink or something to eat. The Eagle has four Pool teams, one Darts team and a football team, so we very ‘games’ orientated.
