Dating back hundreds of years to at least the early 17th century. Having had numerous name changes this full of character public house is now recognised as the oldest in tunbridge wells town as well as the most haunted, and yes we serve spirits!
The Compasses has recently been carefully refurbished to maintain all of its original charm. We are a pub hidden away on Little Mount Sion and not one to be missed.
